i got mine out of a paddock about 18 months ago ,lets say it had seen better days, mines a late 1984 xe
with the 20s,ive got for it
mines getting a blown 302 windsor when complete ,671 oh yeah ,so it needs to be welded a little better
mines copping an el dash and el xr interior

scored a 302 windsor last weekend
i like welding
theres heaps more piccis ,
ok the plan is to build my own, from a base model, ive had hundreds of falcons but never really spent the time to do it from scratch ,this build is diff ,as im in no rush to get it built ,so i keep collecting parts and work on it when i feel like it
the day i bought it
i bought a 460 bb for it but changed my mind as the weight factor ,and you need to spend a bucket load to get them to rev n go ,so i sold it
last week i had ome time and wanted to make the el seat mounts ,so i removed this floor brace and welded in and ef/el floor hump unit
also to fit a centre pull handbrake
mock up fit
then plug welded in

so i can use the el xr intherior
el dash steering coloum and padel box, bolt straight into the XE
Hi mate, you may want to come up to Armidale for a look one day. I have about 15 falcons in various states. Some very clean xe stuff that I would part with for bugger all. Had a lot to do with clevelands in competition use and still have heaps of clevo stuff stockpiled. For rego purposes you will find that fitting a late clevo block will make life much easier. Not trying to tell you how to suck eggs but when you see what we got up to with clevelands you will understand the point of the post. All the best, Paul.

I forgot that I have a good Cleveland block in a Zk fairlane that matches your car year wise for rego purposes. Anyway this is not intended as a sales pitch, just willing to help out with the project if interested.
