Frame plugs - DjPete - 07-01-2013 Just got these frame plugs. Less than 10 bucks delivered to the door. Good quality. I suggest a dab of silicon on them. Why don't these come standard?? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/390467817709?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_3982wt_1186 Before After Before After After RE: Frame plugs - Shifu - 07-01-2013 Looking good Dj but if you do not like having holes in your bike maybe you should fix these bullet holes as well RE: Frame plugs - DjPete - 07-01-2013 I live next to Broadmeadows Sifu. I have no choice re the bullet holes. :-) RE: Frame plugs - Batfink - 07-01-2013 hi Dj, do they come in any other colours... like sivler? Sry, I can't access ebay from work and I know i'll forget by the time I get home.... at least I can access this forum LOL RE: Frame plugs - DjPete - 07-01-2013 Batfink, as far as I know just black, some are not perfect fit but should work. See if the silastic helps, waiting to dry. Update: Silastic dried and stuck well. All good RE: Frame plugs - Batfink - 07-01-2013 what a shame... Plus 70 bucks vs 10!! Lol Still would like to know how the screw on ones work though ps silastic has dried now and those suckers aren't coming out in a hurry :-) plus 38 smakeroos postage! Yikes RE: Frame plugs - RyanG - 07-01-2013 I think the screw ones use the opposite plug to hold them in. As in the threaded rod goes through the chassis from one side to the other and the plugs thread onto each end. RE: Frame plugs - DjPete - 07-01-2013 ah of course that makes sense, Thanks Ryan. At least they wouldn't pop out RE: Frame plugs - FONC - 08-01-2013 I got mine from Clark rubber they have all different size plugs in stock and from memory around $5 for a set that was a few years ago though. RE: Frame plugs - DjPete - 08-01-2013 Someone else mentioned that. Good one. If these fall out thats where I will go. So they had them all in stock and they fitted well? also do you have a pic? would be good to see if they stick out as much as mine |
