Engine mount bolt - Pommie - 14-03-2015

Can you heat the remains and try ezyout again?
Heat and cool a few times, try tightening it slightly just to create movement.
Persevere and it will come.
Might need one of those really small butane torches to locate the heat towards the remaing metal without affecting anything else in the area.

heat then a can of freeze, look for it at bearing retailers
otherwise be sure your drill is dead centre then drill it out and recut the thread to standard size
next size up is 7/16 if you are not central
its not going to miss that bolt short term either

I've tried the heating with a butane torch just won't give. Going in with drill and tap.
