HID ballasts

Lost the thread on fitting HID ballasts!!
Where is the recommended location?

Mine is sitting on the right hand side air tube and igniter is screwed under the R.H. indicator screw.

I have high and low beam set from Klight, and the ignitors and balasts are combined, but a few here have fitted them, and most, if I recall correctly, fitted them on RH air tube. Wouldn't mind it if the last lot of photos got put up again or a link.

I used double sided tape between the ballast and and ram pipe and a cable tie around the lot for extra insurance. I did not bother driling the air tubes and fitting screws.

I did a trial mock build up and two balasts have to be at the extreme forward position on the ram tube.
There does seem to be other spaces around. I thought of heat gun gluing them to each side of the headlamp housing as well.
