I'd be thinking that some people should build a bridge or two and move on.

We have what we have been born into.
That is what we have to work with.
If a person or family don't like their inherited homeland, they can apply to move to a new locale if they are accepted by the current residents.

Once there, they should be grateful and slip in quietly.

My reference to that was about what others have said here. The Gov lets in too many people without stringent enough background checks, regardless of where they come from.
