Plenum is well and truly finsihed and on.
Headers are done but just need a little tigging on the spigots that mate into the head (I cut them off the stock headers)
Going out this morning to get some pipe to make the dump and mount the waste gate.
Got my oil lines but just need to find a bulkhead fitting to go into the sump for the drain (So far that has been the hardest to find locally)

Finishing off the intake plumbing but it is giving me a bit of grief making it line up to the standard compresor housing. I am thinking I will have to get a 45deg elbow welded on.

Q's;
I assume you have to cut the fairing to allow the intake pipe up past the radiator?
How did you do the restrictor in the oil feed for the BB turbo?

Wastegate in position. Ready for welding up pipe work

Any suggestions on methods for porting the internal wastegate? Cant really get access to a lathe although I was thinking I might have to send the housing off to have it done professionally.

I would just buy a couple of small-diameter 4-fluted slot drills and stick em in a battery drill, or get some of those abrasive stones that are mounted on 1/4" spindles and use a die grinder, or high-speed electric drill.

Thanks Geri, I actually had a die grinding stone that has been in my toolbox for about 15 years.(Who said you should chuck out stuff you dont use) I bolted a small vice onto my pedestal drill and made a sort of mill. It took a little while but I got it ported out nicely.Pi_thumbsup

Lets see..... A litre of rum a week, plus the coke. 3 cooked meals a day, no excersize, big head. So thats the drag coefficient.

About Mach 2.25. Yeh I think that would be about it.Pi_tongue

As long as there arent metal bits shooting out the exhaust pipe I will be happy.

Hey mate its Con, your progress looks great !!,
Seems you have it all covered, a few things i remember from my install,

one is the restrictor in the block for the oil filter needs to come out.

another is dont forget to set your fuel psi to 43.

I have the map in my laptop for programing the power commander too.

Have you secured the Plenum to some ancor points too?

I installed heavy duty springs in the clutch and im not sure about it i may go back to original...oh also a clutch slave cyl support bracket if you go hd springs.

Um cant think of anything else atm mine is still without the fairings if you still need to see it.

I took mine out for the first time today, my God..... your not gunna regret it, it took several hours to lose the grin and the stupid smirk from my face. Boost started at 4600 rpm and by 6500 my sphincter was doing the 50 cents 5 cents
Also if your gunna run it on the street, your gunna need an exshaust, mine is as loud as a harley.

This is also a fantastic site you should look at if you havnt already http://azbiketech.yuku.com/
( no its not gay porn lol )

Anyways, anything i can help with feel free to call 0412521652 Con

Con, try remove your 2 extra heavy duty springs if its a brock kit and put 2 standards in. this helped a lot on my last busa and made it more user friendly with no dramas

[/i]Thanks Con, Glad to hear you are lovin it. I have got most of that sorted already. Still saving for the fuel pump and FMU.

What boost are you running? I still need to set my wastegate and I am thinking .4 bar or 5-6 PSI for the stock engine.

I thought the dump pipe might have been a bit loud. Never mind, something to slip on for the track.
