My Aprilia is nearly ready for its next track day

Woohoo The RS250 has its new front end and brakes and is nearly ready for the 8-12-08 Wakefield track day.:ayyy:

Can anyone suggest some front suspension settings to get me started?:)









I might take it easy for the first couple of corners to scrub in the new front tyre.

I can see that you've gone for the "in seat comode" for when you shit yourself at the first bend.

To be truthful Leonard is machining up spacers for the steering head shaft swap. He pressed the steering head out of the RS250 Tripple trees and milled up spacers to get it to fit into the RSV tripple trees.

Im pretty happy with the paint Mark (driller) its my first attempt at paint. When all the mods are finished and she is back together Ill colour sand and buff it.

Mods so far:
Gilles Rearsets
Tyga expansion chambers
Braided brake lines
Brembo 4 pad 4 piston calipers
Brembo fully floating ductile iron discs (yes two)
Brembo radial master cylinder
RSV1000 complete front end
Wider RSV front wheel
Slicks and tyre warmers.

Still to do before the track day at Wakefield on December 8th -
Ohlins rear shock
Racetec front forks and gold valves
Finish the front end and bolt it all together
Find someone to propperly tune and jet it.

Anyone got any suggestions of a good 2 stroke tuner?
