Tony Armstrong

I have been told that Tony Armstrong passed away a few months ago.
A bit sad to have not known about it as I would have liked to attend the funeral as I am sure some others would have too.

Tony was ill for some time. Cancer I believe.
The last time I saw him was at Rocket Rod's funeral.

Can somebody else reconfirm his passing please?
I have heard it from a good source who rang his work and was told.
If possible dates etc. A few more pics would also be good.

Then, I think it only proper that he be added to the Gone But Not Forgotten thread.
He was a great bloke and although not so active on the board I and a few others had ridden with him several times.

Very sad news to hear about Tony. Rod and Tony were goods mates and I had the pleasure of riding with him & Rod on many occasion.
I remember even before Rod was sick, Tony was diagnosed with his cancer and he seemed to be dealing with it well.

Last time I saw him was at Rods funeral and he reminded me he didn't have that much longer to live.
Facing death just around the corner, I was touched at his courage.

Always a gentlemen, he will be sadly missed.
Condolences to his family & friends, R.I.P Tony...

So sad if this news is right? I saw him last at Rocketmans Funeral too.......

Tony was a real gentleman. He always had kind words to say about people. He loved his Busa. I remember he used to give Rocketman a lift to Cleo's when Rocketman was going through his non riding period.....

I remember that top photo like it was yesterday. Bloody Groupies are bad enough without Fast Freddie blowing me kisses...Roll

I have nothing but good thoughts about Tony.

Best wishes to his family and R.I.P Tony Armstrong.

Cheers, Phil.

I used to look forward to my Wednesday night discussions with Tony at Cleos covering a miriad of topics. He was always very interested in your point of view & could talk on any subject due to his enquiring mind & knowledgable nature. Spoke with him last at Rocket's sendoff . A very nice guy who will be sadly missed.

RIP Tony.....

My condolences to his entire Armstrong family..

Regards, Rev..
