RIP Brendon Paul Davis (Parker)

It is with a very heavy heart and deep distress that I must pass on the news to people who have attended the Nymboida runs that Chris and Kathy Parker (riders of the old FJR1300) lost Cathy's 16 year old son last night in a bike crash.

Brendon was a 1st year mechanic apprentice at Chris Watson Motorcycles in Cessnock where many of our members get their busas serviced. His nickname was "Monday".

Brendon was on his Learners for about 2 months.

I am in shock and will post up more info when I can.

It appears that Brendon was overtaking a car, hit the kerb and was thrown into a stone wall. Somehow his helmet came off before impact with the wall.

I have been advised that Brendon's funeral will be at the Ryhope Crematorium at 10:15 am on Monday. There will be a bike escort for his last ride from the Formula 1 motel at Wallsend at 9am.
If you are able and wish to attend, please be at the Motel carpark by 8:45am.
Some of our Newcastle guys are in Melbourne for the SBK racing and I have passed on the sad news to Braddo and co. Like me, they are at a loss with this sad news.
