The pump runs to a T at the bottle & it stays open all the time,
then back to the regulator,
then to the air shifter & another line up to the dash with a pressure gauge
I have a switch on the dash to pump up the bottle when it gets low

Hope this helps

Not sure how they compair to Air shifter,
but a couple of the guy's back home went for electric shifters.
Big solenoid in the tail and a cable running down to the level.

airshifters have a much more stronger and positive shift compared to electric. Thats why you wont see electric on most drag bikes.

Watched a guy once persever with one, only to do damage to his gearbox with all the missed shifts.
