nick i have been an still are an active member of the katana australia club and still have a few kats in the back shed mate an im sorry to say im noy a fan of that pic lol there is a concept bike in japan an its a gsx 1400 with the original factory katana kit on it an it looks really nice

i have a katana im building an its the 84 85 pop up headlight model an its going to have busa front an rear ends when its finished

but sorry to say i dont like that 1 mate lol but each his own when a blind man kissed a monkey [/align]

Not a concept bike. A popular conversion.
Sold as a kit or a new bike I think.

I did think about it, as a "DIY job" but after riding a couple of
GSX14's recently I think i'll give it a miss.

Im always on the look out for another Kat,
(another black motor SD / extra clutch / alloy peg / GSXR style wheel model)
Had mine for many years, Sold it when I left the UK.
My current ET was to give me my "Air-cooled GSX" fix but its not the same.

Not looking its best, but this was mine........

Reminds me of those awful GS650 shafts they stuck the Katana
logo on to try and give them some cred.

GSXR1000 isnt the ideal donor.
Busa/B-King would be better.

yeah the 750 1000 1100 and the 750 pop up headlight was a very popular model and is well sort after also as there was only 2 models relesed of them 84 white n gold an the 85 silver i had an 84 white n gold
