Shredder is spot on, they are red hot here in Qld about shortening or removal of rear guard, I know several people who have been booked for this, and back in the last blitz, a guy got booked for having a too short rear guard, forget what bike it was now, but it had the STANDARD rear extension, the copper used some 45 degree template he had made up to check it, and it was a tiny bit short.

Looks good, but not worth it in Qld AT ALL. Yes plenty do it, and plenty get booked.

As far as where you are from, they could care less. Must be legal for Queensland if you are in Queensland.

Same here in Perth Dave, i got stickered for guard ,indicaters and brake lights about a year ago now.
Thought it was just going to be a blitz for a month or two , but there still onto anyone that has a modded guard.
