THE LONE POSTIE
On a cold morning in late July 2009 The Lone Postie will embark on an epic journey to raise money for the children's ward at Nambour General Hospital. He will travel more than 5,000kms from Maroochydore to the northern most tip of the Australian continent and back.
Navigating through the crocodile infested wilderness of the Cape York Peninsular is a tough job at best, but to make things a little more interesting The Lone Postie will complete his trip solo, without any support crew, and riding upon a little red Honda postie bike.
The Lone Postie will provide regular updates of his adventures and you can visit the blog page to offer your encouragement, ask a question, or call him a madman.
In return, please donate whatever you can to help Nambour hospital care for sick kids. All donations made through this site are collected by the Sunshine Coast Health Foundation and any amount over two dollars is tax deductible.
