The best price in town for Shinko's is Mad Mick on (07) 3818 1208. He sells to you at nearly same price I get them.
Good guy, just likes a chat and he will post them.

I will get a p[rice list and post but no-one beats him for price mate.

Hi there Mick,
it might have been a good idea to put this entry into the TYRE thread as well, because unless I have TOTALLY missed it there,
I could have done with this bit of help.
I just fitted and paid $585 for a set of RoadSmarts. So that was throwing money away.
If you have regular "Specials", please would you make sure none of us here have any chance of missing it(?)
I must say I will search a LOT harder next time I am due for tyres.
While I am here, can I ask you for an opinion(price and wear characteristics) of the RoadSmarts as against the Metzler M5's...? thanks,
FP

The M5's are a pure sport tyre I believe and are not long wearing.

Your Roadsmarts are a touring tyre that can cut afew laps of the mountain raods at respectable speeds. And wear pretty good on a busa.

Thanks for that Mick,
do also let us know when you get the new SPORTSMART in stock too as they are supposed to go even better than the RoadSmarts.
