I did have a thought and this was after seeing a picture of a Ducati 1098 mounted to a lounge room wall, attached by two steel rods.

Fell over at 2km/h and got written off becasue of a 1mm scratch on the frame!
Belongs to some dude out west now...

After seeing this thread I just had to go have a look, just out of curiosity as I bought mine in April 2000. It's a 9/99 build red/black (but I had it repainted prior to delivery- all red) #532.

Saw a "copper' at road warriors the other weekend, it was build # 005.
Was unable to track down the Rider to see if he was in the Club forums.
