There is a rumour going about that there is a bikefest on the weekend of 11 Nov. Does anyone have any details?

Does that mean I can race, or is it for people who actually know what they are doing?

Not sure Heidi, I know they have a streetfighter class, where it is basically a go race who ever you want, all day. They have been getting 12-15 runs in.
Simmo has raced at these events he might be better to answer you on wether you need a licence

I know. I'm trying to decide which one to do. If it is two days of racing for anyone (read someone who is a newbie and would love the chance to practise), then I'd like to do that. To race in Sydney usually, I have to take two days off mid-week, so I can't do it as much as I'd like. With two days of good runs, I could get some real practise in. I'm read to start running 10's, but at this rate it will be with a zimmerframe.

Heidi, just give it heaps for 300m, then hit the brakes.
You should manage to stay just over 10.0 and stay out of trouble
