Hi Jock,

Only ever used Mobil 1....... but that's getting hard to find.

Not too sure what I'll be using if I can't find that!

Cheers Biker

Its the big question and always will be, I stick with the synthetics Motul/Fuchs/Mobil 1, however a few guys I know use Penrite diesel oil, one of the guys on the diesel motorbike forums states the best synthetic bike oil is not as good as the worst diesel oil, havent been game enough to try that though. There is a forum here posted somewhere relating to this. Try searching the websites. It would be good to see what the top engine guys use and recommend.

MOTUL

The way I see it, is as long as its a good quality syn oil, and you change it regally you'll be fine.

Problems come up when you use the wrong grade- viscosity..
or if you let it get to dirty, and then the additives in the oil break down and start congealing, and thats when you f*** things up.
