Was a good meeting & the bikes & teams that raced looked great. Leigh

Looked like it was a great meeting. Thanks to my queensland racing buddies for keeping me updated on the weekend. The pro street bikes looked 1st class. Well done to those that made it happen and to Leonard for making the trip to Willowbank for a win and to Puz on his runner up.
What were your pb's reggie. Seen a pic of the red star racing bikes they looked awesome. Also unlucky Jas for the mechanical gremlin and so close to a 7 sec pass on NOS.
Hope the 2nd round goes just as good.

Thanks,
Great to meet you Reggie.
Reggie and Ants bikes were indeed top quality, as were all the others, mine is starting to look a bit battered up but after 6 1/2 years of punishment you get that!!!
My bike had no motor in it 2 days before hand, I had built a brand new motor for it, new cases, barrels, crank, rods, pistons etc etc and the first ride and run in was one lap of the Willowbank carpark then off to the strip for a 7.7 sec run first up in qualifying.
Ran a best of 7.53 and worst was an 8.0, best mph was 196mph (315kph approx).
Had a ball and got to meet up with old friends and make new ones!
Leonard.
