Its 1st life.

Its 2nd life.

Its 3rd life?
Bought some Yoshi Tri-Oval can's off Big Kev at VCM, top bloke.

Bought a GSXR K6 rear end and adapter plates off Rev Head Pete, another top bloke.

that look like this (on the Busa they came off)

A sudden burst of interest and enthusiasm this morning and I had a tidy up and a move around.
Gave the Busa a check over, and started digging out some of my Busa spares stash.

.... and when Pete heard that I was going to run twin pipes and no pillion,
being the top bloke that he is, went down the workshop and fab'd up a
matching exhaust hanger mirror image for the other side (he only used one
as he had a 4-into1)

Just a quick test / dummy fit, (as in fitted quicly by a dummy)
to see what it looks like. All about to come back off.
Few things I want to change or not happy with but you get the idea.

holy shit ,cool did the exhaust match up,you also might notice how tight the battery is ,i made it that why ,it looks awesome, lol did u see how the seat mount from mine is wider then your ,i think if you cut the munt in half and re-rivet it back ti the width you need, that would work,oh i thought id sent you the plastic, undetail as you didsay the cops are pretty harse on tail tidies

All good Mate.

Might use the rear guard, doesnt look as good but one less worry
with it there.

Yeah, I might need to re-do the seat mount. Looks easy.

Exhaust matched up but FARK! it was a stretch to pull the pipes up
to get the bolt in. Im running factory front mipes with there extra mounts
and they dont want to lift up a little higher like your 4 into one.
Done now.

Havent mounted the reg/rectifier yet, not sure where you had it ?

and rear brake res is swinging free as I moved it to get the subframe
on and might need a new bracket ?

Very happy with the look, they're minor things and its HEAPS easier
than if id tried to make it !! Thanks Pete.

the reg rectifier ,went were the 2 philips heads are in between the front rear seats ,the rear of the front seat locks in those too square brackets, and there is a little cut out in the bottom of the battery box ,it actually just pokes up in there next to the battery

Yeah, I have a few set of can's.
Don't mind shortening a pair.
Tail makes them look real long doesn't it!

when it was on mine i knocked 3 inches off the connecting pipe ,bc with a busa cutting the muffler down loses all the torque from the engine,,ive done this and rode the bike ,and thought yuk ,nah shorten the con pipes ,check out the piccis of mine for the lenght

I'll give it some thought Pete.

I understand what your saying but your full system flowed a lot
better than the stock restrictive front pipes I have and my can's
are bafled a little, so im not sure i'd drop the back preasure like yours.

Interesting though, im not rushing into it.

I like your DIY exhaust hangers Pete.
Thin bar show's off the gap between the tyre and the tail
and the rear guard / plate hanger isnt THAT big.
