Michelin Pilot Power
#1
Hi there.

I recently fitted the new michelin pilot power to the rear of the bike and thought I would give some feedback on it's performance.

I have now had the tyre on the back for 3000km. In this time it has done normal riding, a ride day, and a trip to queensland. There is still 2/3 of the tread left, but the only time I nailed it was on the track, on the road I don't generally nail it from the lights, I'm always in front anyways.

The previous tyre was a dunlop D208 and that was finished off from 1/2 tread in 1500km. I have found the Pilot Power is warming up a lot better than the old Pilot Sport. Once the front D208 goes west the Pilot Power will take it's place.

Well, I dont work for Michelin, but I like to let people know what I find out, both negative and positive. This opinion is on my riding style, I have not yet ridden with this tyre in the wet. I would reccomend giving one a go, at the rate the busa boys are chewing out rear tyres we can afford to play around a bit.
