Gen 1 is older with that raw feeling
Gen 2 is newer more refined

Which is faster Depends on who's Riding and where

I believe you have to do performace mods to get the most out of any bike and by that I mean Suspension & Brakes no need to go nuts with the motor unless your chasing single digits at the drags

That said I think the Gen 1 is way fasterCoolsmiley
