2012 L2 Hump mod.

I could not find any thread with picks for a grabrail pluss hump mod. for the L2 so I have tried to supply the info for those interested.

1- Undo the latch and pack it with 1mm washers.
2- Cut two small sections of the hump inner plate out.
3- Grab the grinder 4" if possible(easyer to control) and remove around 3mm of the aluminium from the flat area at the rear bolt holes. then taper off towards the front holes.
4- counter sink the rear holes, and the front bolt bush (carefull not to cut out the spot welds.
5- buy 4x 40mm x 8mm counter sink cap head bolts. Bolt on grab rail.
6- sit Hump in place and mark where to cut for the rail.(use tape to mark and cut it helps stop chipping).\
