Fitting GSXR600 / 750 arm ?
#1
Help!

I'm sure I asked this ages a go but I can't find or remember the replies / info.

I know anything CAN be made to fit, but what's the easy route to putting in a shorter GSXR arm ?

What model SRAD arm do I use?
Issues with shock fouling arm?
Issues with the shock lining up?

YES, I do know the effect it will have.

I think some of the drag-guys may have done this mod to allow the bikes to be
lowered more before they extended the arms ?

Notice the "one off shock linkage "
the shock pivot mounts are wrong for the shock hole in the swingarm, you can put a busa shock on the 750, but if you want it any where near std height on the busa it will require custom work or the shock just interferes at the front edge
600 with its flat arm fits better but not as much strength as the 750

srad 750 (96-99) have the same pivot pin and width and take a busa wheel

Cheers Greg.

Yeah, has to be stock height, certainly not lower.

Back to some head scratching.

Another option may be some serious surgery on my spare stock arm.

I might start looking for the SRAD 750 96-99 arm to play with.
Just a bit concerned how I'm going to sort the shock / linkage issue's.
