Qld single seat rego changes.....

No more paying someone to inspect it,
no more mod plates to be attached.

As of today,
turn up at Qld Transport, fill in an easy form,
they may have a quick glance at the bike to make sure there's
no rear seat or pillion pegs,
Job done! No charge.... $0

The rules changed as of today, 1/7/14.

Simmo, normal 12 months rego here in Qld is $438 and single seat is $243. I paid $70 awhile ago I think to get the single seat compliance plate which was still worth it. Even better now that it's free.
