Go pro mounting ??
#1
Hey guys,
I bought a go pro on the weekend (actually a Aldi look-a-like), but I'm not sure where to mount it. If anyone has one mounted on a gen2 I would appreciate a few tips or better still, pictures. I don't want to stick it to my helmet because I reckon I'd look like a goose Pi_freak
Thanks guys ..
Dale

I use a suction cup mounting on the side fairing. I uploaded some footage to YouTube search for "omeo hwy on hayabusa". Works we'll and doesn't vibrate.

If your mirrors vibrating then something is loose. They should be steady as a rock. I have no problems with vibration at any speed (and it got tested thorougly). The new camera is even smaller than mine so it should be even easier to fit.

Bought Aldi camera on Saturday and a suction cup mount from eBay. Will try them out on the weekend.

RAM sell a number of mounting options, found them to be really good in general. One I use is the headstem mount but others work well on the oggies/etc.

It gets some vibration, as can be seen from this still, but its not bad:
