Chinese Foot Peg

Howdy,
I'm looking for lowered pegs on my Gen 2...(yes, 46 year old legs are starting to give me grief and recently broken ankle didn't help).
Has anyone tried these, or has anyone got a set that I can score.
I think another inch or so will make the difference. (or so she says....lol).

Might be a silly question, but without any rubber on the peg wouldn't you feel more vibrations through it?

I don't think vibes are a problem, just need to stretch the legs a bit more.

Having similar aged legs and a heavily invest beer gut as well I found my legs felt best after I raised my bars and lowered my seat position.

Tried chinese adjustable position rearsets and really didn't like them much. While repositioning was good the pegs themselves didn't feel wide enough and my feet kept feeling like they were going to slip off. In the end these had my legs cramping more than riding on stock pegs.

I love Gilles Tooling gear. More expensive yes, but as least you know it won't snap or fail. They also give you more parts and options. I use their rearsets, levers, axle adjusters and axle lock nut and couldn't be happier.

Try motorradgarage.com.au, vario foot pegs. Several combinations, 1 with rubber inserts. I'm thinking of getting a set, I just have to see if it touches the exhaust pipes.

take the rubber of the gen 2 ,drops them about 27mm.then fill the gap under the rubber with sikaflex and put grip tapeor thin grippy rubber on top.i put grip tape,some types of rubber might be slippery in the rain.take the rubber of ,adjust gear and brake levers.big difference.maybe cut slots with hacksaw on the edges for grip.

Ive got the chinese adjustable pegs.
I've found them ok,
But take to mind that I'm only about 5'6" and only 56kg (No i'm not a Jockey).
Also the anodising is crap! Because of the way my bike has to be parked
with the R/H side facing Nth, the r/h peg is now a gold on top and black underneith while the L/H peg is still black!
For a cheep option they are fine but if you can wait till you can afford or you are a heavyer set Gentleman (Or like to Mono everywhere) Then go for one of the sets the other guys have recomended!
