Quick Hayabusa Tips & Tricks For Newbies

Add your shortcuts, tips or tricks you have learnt over the years in looking after and maintaining your Bus....

And a double bubble screen will allow you to see the speedo, right around the area of our national speed limits.

Service wise, put alfoil over the header pipes while you are changing the oil filter, saves having to clean all the oil off 'em.

And, park the busa in gear and rolled up on the gearbox to avoid the chance of it falling over.
Better still, do the sidestand mod, and park it as above.

Best mod you will do is a decent exhaust system. Then the bus sounds how it's supposed to be.

Cheapest and most effective mod is the sponge grip changeover. You'll never look back.
Around 10 bucks from Peter Stevens delivered to your door.

Respect the Hayabusa and it will respect you.
If inexperienced the Bus does things so easily you can easily get in over your head round corners etc.

Take your time to get used to your new machine and after a few months you will be a raving fanatic like the rest of us.

Just because the bike can do over 300kph does not mean you have to do that!
You can have lots of fun on this bike and keep within the road rules and have your license for many years.
For instance they are such a fun smooth consistent cornering machine, accurate like a knife.

Oh yeah the blue LED mod is another ripper.
Around 20 bucks all up from Jaycar.
No drills, just stick it under your bottom fairing, run the wires up to battery earth and other power from rear tail light wire and you're all ready for Lygon Street..

Biggest tip I can give is get yourself a manual..........


They are a god send when first time removing panels (as long as you trust the manual as you are tugging on a plastic panel praying to God you are doing it right and not about to snap it in half or crack the paint work)

Start studying up on common law ,so when u get to court u can stick it up them as I'm trying to do soon over $835 speeding ticket .
