Clip over rim are dangerous... Have been coming off at speed since at least the 1980's ......when I started at my local Bob Jane Tmart as the lacky boy (cleaned second hand lead weights every Saturday)
Besides the fly off danger...... they scratch the shit out of your soft alloy wheels!
Go get a better tyre joint was my first thought!
