Busa transmission issues

Hi guys have a 2005 busa and started having 2nd gear issues. A slip second shudder and loss of power that I think is the transmission slipping (research done online) and also on the not to frequent time slips out into neutral. Located in ACT and wondering what an estimated labour cost would be for this work? I'm going to be sourcing a racecut transmission, new shift forks, new drum and ape shift rods.

I'm hoping she holds out till I have the funds. Obly just started happening so nothing serious yet

Hi Ausbusa,
best bet would be to get several quotes from shops/builders over your way. Heads and barrels don't need to come off, its just a case of putting the engine on its back and removing the lower crankcase half (plus all the bits that hold it to the top crankcase).
