I have a 02-07 power commander in excellent condition, would like to swap it for a 01 PC to suit my bike.

Thanks Harky. Turns out the 99-00 PC uses completely different connecting leads so can not be used in a 2001.

The the 2002-2007 version (that I have) has the same connectors and does seem to work on the bike, however there is a dedicated 2001 version, which is the one Im looking for.

G'day,

My Busa is a 2001. It is fitted with a 2002-2007 ECU and rotor as well as a PC III for a 2001 model -- part number 320-411.

It works perfectly and has done since my Busa was all stock.
No need to change anything.

1999-2000 models had a unique wiring harness.
2001 to 2007 models all use the same wiring harness.

ECU
1999-2000 -- 8Bit ECU
2001 only -- 16Bit ECU
2002-2007 -- 32Bit ECU

My 2001 has standard ECU. Do you think the 2002-2007 PCIII will be OK in this bike. Ive connected it and it seems to work OK, but I do not want to screw anything up.
