Exhausts. What does the standard system weigh ??
#1
I know this question has been asked before, but I can't seem to find the answer.

Does anyone have accurate figures on what does the standard exhaust system (cans/pipes etc) weigh ?

I've noticed a few members have bits floating around the shed at the moment... and MacBusa has a whole system up for sale. Seems like the perfect opportunity to get some accurate info. So would some of you like to weigh the various 'bits' and post it up.

I think its useful to know how much weight you're likely to drop if you swap to a new system or cans.

The older I get, the better I was. Regards.... Rob

Figures are accurate as I own them.

Stock system 14024g
HMF Hi Mount with carbon cans 9863g
Yoshi S/S with high mount 7086

these weights include all mounting brackets , nuts, bolts and retaining springs etc

The Titanium will be the lightest out there , however there are some very lightweight S/S too... and cheaper. Remember Titanium doesnt achieve a gain in power ... just lightens the hip pocket Astro ... and braggin B/S rights
