Oil consumption

Now having the bussa for 3 months,i've noticed that i have to top up the oil between oil changes.Its not a lot but about 1/2 litre every 5000 klms,is this the norm?Its got 42000klms on it now which is not a lot really,but my honda had 150000 when i sold it and never burnt a drop.Hope i havent bought a lemon Rod. <i></i>

I have to do the same, about 1/2 litre and sometimes a little more depending on how i ride.
