Braking, or the lack of..
#1
I had my front discs reground and the braided lines taken off and replaced with the original rubber hoses. [a story I can't be bothered explaining right now, some of you would have heard it on the grapevine anyway. ]

Ron told me that the brakes would need some time to reseat and what not to the discs, which they did. Initial braking performance was terrible. It's 'better' now but it's still far from what it used to be. I don't need to hear about how cheesy and cakey the brakes are - they were good with the braided lines. I don't remember it being this hard to pull up even when I rode with the rubber lines for over a year.

Are the rubber lines totally f*&cked or is there something else I should be checking? Also, it makes a clonking noise from the front-end sometimes when I let off the front brake after stopping - hrmmm..
