Dave forgot to ask was the donour bike the same year model ? ie wiring harness differs from year to year on pin outs on ECU's. 2000 / 2001 and then 2002 onwards are different. Just odd there are no fault codes.

Hi Pan,

I am still all good to go on this one. I'm replacing the rooted rear tyre this weekend and will attempt to ride to yours Monday night.

See you then.

Regards
Graham

Bad news, bad news.

I dropped the bike today. Was turning into a car park in the early hours of the morning and hit a wet patch, locked the front and the left side is scratched up. Gone to Mototech for repairs...

On the good side, I needed a new nose cone anyway...

I'm still on for Monday...

I wish. Graham is good, but I'm not sure he's got a red/black left fairing, nose cone and other plastic broken bits, as well as panel beating equipment (have ya Graham?). Anyway, it's at Mototech now...

It's going to be an insurance job. The bike slid down a slight hill for about 10 meteres, even though it basically just fell and I landed on my feet. I'm guessing they'll tell me it's about $4500 damage...

Double ouch PAN
Hope you get it back soon.
I have felt like I lost my left leg when the bike went into the shop.
