Must be fun checking the tappets on the lower cylinder

What is that... Rotax

Biggest piston donk I worked on was the Pratt & Whitney R 2800. 18 cylinder double row Wasp.
2,800 rated S/L HP (with water injection)
The first aero piston engine to have a 1:1 power to weight ratio so I'm told.

36 plugs to change & 36 tappets to check on every major service

Fuel consumption ?....forget it

Without seeing the clip i'll asume its the silvet fugly looking thing The bike is a Marine Turbine Technologies Y2K Superbike powered by a Rolls Royce Allison gas turbine engine running on diesel , costs about $250,000 US if you can spare it and they only produce about 5 a year. If you can stomach Torque he rides one (kinda its not real but you get the point) at the end of the movie

Volvi, could you PM or email me that video to me please, maybe via my profile email address?? Cheers

Well, in the last 2 years, I've gone from small AVGAs burning piston engine aeroplanes, to new technology diesel engines into aircraft - running on JET-A1, and now into corporate helicopters working on the ones that fly in and out of Docklands and Casino..... So, has anyone got a spare Busa for me to fling a 650shp small engine into (we just bought a new one for a small chopper recently $680,000 !!!!
