Time to replace the fuel pump on my 99 busa and the local stealership quoted me near $500 for pump only!

Have you tried any wreckers for a second hand one? That's my only suggestion.

The 99's are notoriously shitty for dropping copper so the 99's definitely out.

Only option is 00, but am concerned about picking up a crappy one of dem too. If I could only see inside the pump ... totally different situation if it were heads, crankcase, plastics and stuff...
