police strike possibility
#1
Here in QLD there is a significant possibility that the fuzz will be going on 'strike' sometime in the near future for not getting paid enough. While they cannot legally strike, they can do things like, as suggested by the president of the police union, STOP ISSUING SPEEDING FINES

Now imagine the soundtrack of Top Gun playing..... Da na na naa na Dana na na naa, na na naa

You have been advised that the police will not issue speeding fines for the day. You and tha boyz (and girlz) grin uncontrolably as you rumble onto to M1 at 5.30am in the morning, at, say, 200kmh. Sitting on 280, you cruise towards the coast without a worry in the world. Get there in 10 minutes and turn around and do it again.
........

I will let you know when it is on.

cheers,
adrian

When the vic cops struck (!? striked !?) and didn't issue fines, the cameras were still going, and they still pulled people over for a warning, and if they felt the infringement was severe, issued fines retrospectively when the strike was over.

Oh really ? That's bad news for you because if they get their way the Gov't will simply pass on the wage rises to guess who ? in the form of what ? !!!!!!!!

Bracks & Co caved in here in Vic & recovered their costs by putting in more speed camera's. They would have to be the most fiscally punitive regime in living history!!!

But hey, it's all for our own good right & speed camera's are alway's set up in known accident black spot's right ?!!!!!!!

All those black spots on the not yet completed freeway to Geelong, and the treachorously bad ring road too.
