All,
Spotted a concerning article in the Sydney Morning Herald this day.
www.smh.com.au/articles/2...60527.html
Regarding the amount of ethanol in some fuel sold at some independant fuel traders in South Sydney. Not sure what this stuff would do to a 'Bus, or if it is PULP, ULP or LRP that is being dodgy-ed.
I'll not name the Fuel Traders mentioned in the article, but have a read if you desire.
(Hope I'm not being a panic-merchant, I usually use PULP from Caltex, seems pretty good to me "Vortex" ?? )
Extract below:
A survey of independent petrol retailers in southern Sydney has found two-thirds are selling fuel containing ethanol at levels which car makers warn can damage engines and void manufacturers' warranties.
Samples taken from three of nine randomly-selected petrol stations contained more than the generally accepted safe limit of 10 per cent ethanol - and three more contained 20 per cent or more.
...
Happy 'Bus-ing.
