Im happy enough.
Was out 'till late last night and this morning took it
over Mt Nebo, Mt Glorious, Back of Mt Cootha etc.
Even with new tyres and running it in and getting used to
everything its impressive.
Sit on one in a dealers and you think its ugly and its a barge!
Ride one and you realise how good the Mk2 Busa motor is,
You cant see and soon forget the wiiiiide tank on the move.
Feels like the best bits of 1200 Bandit and a Hayabusa combined.
Running in I was told "keep her under 6000".
6000rpm is just short of 200kph.
Been going everywhere in "A" full power mode.
Pulled over, bike in neutral, select "B" mode.
Pull away, felt gutless, slowed down and gave it full throttle
from about 20kph....... it pulled like a GS500. Pulled over, reselected "A" mode.
No need to ever do that again!
The things so grunty it wouldnt be a drama to ride on wet roads or similar.
Me-no-understandi.
What else ?
Zero room under either seat,
Tool kit even has to go behind side panel,
Pillion seat reasonable, no grab rail,
Clocks do tricks like counting down to next service,
Elapst time of last ride, average speed of last ride,
Mirrors are average,
Riding position suits me as a slim 6-footer,
big boy's might not like getting their legs under the stupid tank panels.
Little 16.5 ltr tank might be its downfall,
suppose I just learn to plan ahead.
Not everyone's cup of tea, but if you want a new naked bike,
I dont think there is another Jap-4 cylinder that has the
horsepower, torque, and the running gear.
I agree on the comments about the looks. After classics like
the original Bandit12 and the GSX1400 I cant see everyone
warming to it. Shame. Its bloody good fun.
I have to keep reminding myself its not even run in and it breathing
through super quiet pipes !! I recon these things have huuuuge potential.
No regrets.

I checked one out in the shop this morning and it is 1 very wide muther of a bike.
I can't believe it only has a 16 litre tank. There must be a huge amount of empty space under there.
"If time catches up with you. You're going too slow!"
Regards BUSGO
Congrats dude. It's that BK & the K8 Busa that interest me most at the mo. Have fun with it & I recon there will be heaps of bling & sting bits for both these bikes in the near future.
Well done mate, tuffest looking naked available imo, even with the exhaust

hi Guys, took the b-king for a test ride yesterday (Monday), i did like it a lot, very smooth, and the power is everywhere in any gear. It does look like a barge, but the handling is very sharp. I will be getting one, I'll see you in jindy
