I think Ward means Thunderbolt's Way which is just past The Buckett's Way which is just past my home town.
But yes, it is a wonderful stretch of road with good open vision all round.

Agree - have done it & Oxley as well... where I ran it till the speedo stopped & engine kept going lol had myself, blackbird & zzr1100 go for it :) was fun

ive been just over 285 ,scares the farkin shit out of me at those sort of speedsEek how long do you maintain that speed for, is it a case of take it there ,then back off or do you keep it at warp speed until the road dictates otherwise? thats really scarey speeds to be travelling at

just for a little then back off...not like flying at that speed for any long amount of time :)

but I find my busa suxs it self down when I get to 240 - its more stable

Hi, new to the forum, yep the magic 300. On my 03 I see 300 come up in 5th at 11000 and then slot into 6th and pull another 800rpm. She's absolutely stable at speed.
