99 and 08

Every day I take the GLW into work over the Narrows bridge in Perth around 0700. Hardly see a bike normally, maybe one or two per week.
Today I spied a couple coming up behind so made space (as you do) to allow them past.
First one was a 99 Copper Silver (same as mine). Tears welled up as I looked at it scooting past.
Bugger me, right on his tail a blue 08!
Wish I'd had the camera.
Can't be too many of either on the road, and one behind the other...

im hoping that in the next 6 months or so i can have a orange/black next to my copper/silver in the garage

At this time I'm working on a 99 Red/Black & 08 Blue/Black combination.

(I think the blue/black will be the Red/Black of the next gen. The orange is a copper substitute)

At least the '08 knows its place and stayed behind the copper/silver
