PAINT PROTECTORS
#1
the previous owner of my bike has put some sort of do it yourself cut out paint protects on parts of the bike... Problem is he hasnt cut them out too well and the edges of them are starting top look a bit rought....

Has onyone else had any luck with removing these things? is it the old hair dryer trick??

also, has anyone had any luck with professionally cut out ones like these.....

just curious, cause I'm about to spend a few $$ on new fairing stickers now and it might be worth protecting them AND the paint. Coffee

Hi Crazzy,

As a coincidence I was looking at getting a similar kit from the US - I haven't used them before but it sems like a great idea. the US co has a shot of a couple of bikes which may be of interest and FAQs.

One thing they do say is that if you remove the protectors you may also remove any decals underneath.

Regards

Yeah I took one of the protectors I have off the tank and it was a great system for removing those crappy factory stickers on the tank.........
