I saw an article that reports that Symantec -The Internet Security company, has found and shut down a company that was distributing up to 60 billion spam messages a day!.


They estimate that this is possibly half the daily traffic that is distributed around the world each day and the shutdown has had a major impact on the amount of the shit getting into the ether net.

Unfortunately they think that a replacement server will be up and running fairly soon and the hunt will continue.
