BLACKZOOK

As you all know 2 of our members recently had an off, it was not caused by stupid riding it was more a wrong place at the wrong time thing. I understand that there may be some insurance issues for one or both of them so would like to offer the following to help them back on the road.

Does anyone else have parts to donate or offer cheap to help these guys out. The actual extent of the damage is yet to be confirmed so more details to follow.

I have to offer.
1. A complete set of bodywork all different colours with some LIGHT scratches all easily fixed for painting. Nosecone, both side panels, tail piece unmarked. These cost me a carton of beer and $120.00 so you can have the lot for $120.00
2. Front wheel with good Bridgestone tyre and both front discs $100.00 perfect cond.
3. Handlebars and top tripple tree - free.
4. Full stock exhaust unmarked - free.
5. Boxes of body and electriacal parts - free.
6. Rear swingarm perfect nick - free
7. A group of us all put in a few bucks each and purchased stock parts to chrome and handed these around between ourselves. There is front and rear footpegs, carriers and pedals , clutch cover, stator cover, sprocket cover, brackets and a heap of other bits. Assuming Simmo and 1hotbusa agree I'd like to offer the lot free.

This is not a for sale thread and these bits ARE NOT for sale to anyone else at all.

Does anyone else have bits they could donate or offer cheap to help these guys out if there is insurance issues?

Forgot to add 2004 instrument cluster fitted with illumiglo faces perfect condition 27000ks on meter $200.00

Ruffy - John if you need any of the bits that I have put a dollar value to you can have em up front and have 2 years to pay em off, not a munute more or I'll kneecap the both of ya.

Hi there,

Most of the damage to both bikes is on the front. The only thing really needed down the back is two duck cowls.

Up the front there is a lot needed. I am not going to post photos out of respect for the respective owners, but both bikes are in my garage and I am happy to say what they need and dont need.

I am happy to receive parts for these bikes, assuming they are not going to be written off under insurance, and if enough comes through I would love to surprise the guys by rebuilding them. Work could be done out of my garage.

Also need two TiForce 4 into 1 end cans, the rest of the system is ok.

Any questions please drop me a line 0416-317-109

Clusters are OK, undamaged. Both powered up OK.

If an account number could be made available I am sure a lot of members including me would drop a few bucks in to help out.

I have a mate who lost many body parts while a passenger in a bad car accident wit a dropkick driver and a few mates got together while he spent months in hospital and rebuilt/painted his Dodge Rambler and presented it to him when he got out. A man's man but there were tears involved.

This is a wonderful and selfless thing to do.

Graham, you have the parts from the chrome kit we all chipped in for if you and Simmo agree list them up for sale on this forum and we can donate that money to the cause.

I got all of those parts cheap and even at that cheap rate it cost $750.00 if there are buyers here or on ebay we should get at least that to give to the guys.

Thank you mate that is a wonderful offer, if insurance covers the lot then all good, if they bail we may ask for anyone able to chip in cash. For now lets just keep it to parts people have laying around or could offer cheap.
As usual the club members here are out of sight for generosity in these situations.
I just want to say that we will do whatever we can to get the guys going again.
In the case of insurance claims, if the bikes are insured, then the responsibility is wholly with the insurance companies to make good on their policies.
Any outside interference with the bikes may jeapardise that outcome.
So lets just take it easy with inspections and repairs etc till we know what is required.
By all means lets get bits together that may be needed, but we have to observe the "RIGHT" way of doing it first.
I trust that the guys or their reps have organised for the insurance companies to be notified etc.

If, however there is no comprehensive insurance involved, we have a mission!

One bike should be able to claim off the insurances of the other bike,
But if either bike comes up short for some reason lets all hook into it Pi_thumbsup
