I was taking the long way home from the Saturday get together yesterday when I noticed a bike following.
I arrived at a roundabout (double lane) and this guy tried to take me on the outside, so, as you do, I wound it out in 3rd and left him behind.
As I continued I saw him in the mirrors, head down and tail up chasing me for a while and this went on for a few ks. Me tweaking just enough to leave him behind at every bend.
We finally arrived at a red light as we got into the outskirts of town and he pulled up beside.
His first words were. "FUCKEN HELL MATE, I'M JUST TRYIN TO FIND OUT WHAT YA RIDIN" That thing is fantastic!
He was on a mid 70s Desmo 900 Duke and in its day it would have been pretty hard to catch up to or even stay with.
I know it was no contest but I think he may be out looking for a busa soon.

good work creating more members is what we need, wouldn't it be great to get the whole club together and do our own charity run, that would be awesome!

thing is jindy is weekend after or two the snowy ride..

last time took us 7 hours to get there because the organisers of our group we rode with decide too visit every tar road in nsw..

we in reality if go straight make it too thredbo in about 3 and half hours


it would be good if jindy was a bit further apart from the snowy ride ..

gives ppl a chance to go to both

Sigh! Too many roads and not enough time....
We may be going somewhere other than Jindy next year and probably at a different time too.
