Hi all...

Yep, it is great fun. Keep an eye on your fuel and remember that you use a lot more than you expect if you have a head or cross wind so plan carefully. The Nullabour can be a bit windy, stop and take photos because it is beautiful out there. Go like the clappers when you can, why the hell not. Watch out for the Loch Ness Monster somewhere near Adelaide in a pink dam. I know that sounds strange, but you'll know it when you see it (ask Simmo). Try not to be on the road at dawn and dusk, the wildlife gets pretty big out there and if it is the right season, turn right just after the Nullabour Roadhouse and go and see the whales and their babies.

And watch out for small silver cars, they are the EXACT colour of the bloody road!!!!!

Cheers for that... Will i need to carry fuel heading east or will there be enough fuel stops along the way?
Hey Vitto fuel shouldn't be a problem going east have been across 3 times on a GSXR1100 which had no issues.

Work out what sort of K's you want to do every day going across. From Kal we road through to Nullabour approx 1100 k's. Fuel stops not a real issue as there is nothing over 250 k's apart but can get out to 300 k's+ if you don't plan right. One of my mates has just come back so I can find out if any servoes have closed.

Allow for all sorts of weather as it can get pretty nasty out there, all trips I have done have encounted extremely hot temps to absolute pissing down and flooded roads so be prepared.
If your going to catch up for a cuppa in March with the rest of the WA Busa Boys can talk about it there I should be there at this stage.
awesome that would be great...
