If you need to, you can pack out the old ones with some high density rubber from Clark Rubber.
You just need to measure up and fill in the gaps a bit.

(Not the ideal solution but effective)
Parden my ignorance but what is a cush drive????????
Cush Drive:
A drive to Mudgy and a few wines and then a drive back via Port Maquarie with a few coffees in between
Ohhhhhhhhh.
OK I think I got it.

Question. When will I Know something is wrong and it needs replacing?I suppose they get checked when the tyre gets replaced by the mechanic.
LOL yeah they check everything those Apprentice's they do
Yeah the cush rubbers are in the rear hub. The rubber compresses over time and they become a bit loose and cause a bit of wheel lash when accellerating.
They usually last quite a long time but and should be good for at least 5 years or so.
Maybe consider replacing at about 75,000 or sooner if they are obviously real loose.

Just my opinion.

p.s. The harder you ride your bike, the quicker they wear out.
Thanks Busgo.
Apprentices, you gotta love em, they are our future!
Was one once.
boostbysmith sells the tough polyurethane ones for 50USD plus postage. they might be a better option if you have to spend the coin.
