On the way to Bathurst I stopped at the Tourist Hotel in Oberon for a quick refresher. Got talking to the publican there and he indicated that if any bike groups came through there and they rang ahead with numbers he could organise a good deal on meals. From memory it was something like $15 for a t-bone on the barbie and a schooner. Dunno if they had accommodation and it wasn't the best pub ive been to but not the worst either- probably ok for lunch. Anyway just put it out there for anyone who may be interested and my tip is not to go there in winter! Number is (02) 63361378.
