Spooky that. It seems they just want to develop another method of detection. Funny tho... when all of this started they were big on the "safety" aspects and small on the "speeding". Now it sounds like speeding was the only issue. Thus... revenue?

Excellent news, however, I don't for one moment think they'll do nothing. The reference to photographing bikes from the rear has always been there, we have red light combined with speed cameras in Canberra that photograph from the rear already.
It's excellent to hear we wont have to return to front plates, thanks for the article.
