For those interested I just got back from Ku-ring-gai National Park and the West Head Road is a brand new surface as of this week.

Man it is some smooth bends now.

News has it that they are going to commence resurfacing of other areas in the park later this year.

Well worth a jolly if you are local and the view from the end of of West Head Rd is a beauty.
Is that the road up to the lookout that overlooks Palm Beach ?

Yep thats it, only finished this week.
That is great James.
Seems a lot of new bitumix getting laid around the central coast lately.
It is a nice run out there. It would be even better now.

Ray,

Sure was hard to stop at only a couple of laps. Amazing what a diffence a smooth surface makes to the enjoyability factor.
Think Steves Pic above might be from the lookout at the end of WH Rd.
Had a good ride Sun did the Wllombi Jerrys Run and caught up with club members.

Yeah it is, I rode up there early one morning before anybody else was there and rode the bike on the little footpaths down to the lookout so I could take some pics.

Steve,

That is the way to go nothing is to extreme for the Busa to get into the picture.
Think I will have to do the same. Have been scouting Sydney industrial areas around Rozelle and the Harbour for the right shot.
